RED!   Red is so powerful.   I was greatly surprised to see this painting develop.   It began the painting with every shade of red could squeeze out of a tube or concoct.   What started out as an amalgamation bright reds quickly became something else. Looking back I can invent all sorts of meanings.  My first one is that the circles represent humanity, all of us sharing the same color blood.  As good as that sounds, I was just painting for the sheer joy of painting while the word "red" floated around inside my head.  

Not to play favorites, but this is a particularly fine painting.
