Rose Portraits honors those whose lives have been, are being and will be impacted by policing violence.   Rose portraits to hold a place for the ones whose deaths (and abuses) have not resulted in a global protest.  Those whose names are chanted only in the hearts.

Fifty Rose Portrait drawings because fifty is the number of Jubilee celebrations, of release from both debt and slavery. Fifty roses from my yard.  Each unique.  Each worthy of time and attention.  

Rose Portrait drawings are $50, $75, and $100.  All proceeds from each sale will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative.  EJI has a 100 out of 100 rating with Charity Navigator.   Learn more about EJI by reading Bryan Stevenson's book "Just Mercy" or watching the movie, "Just Mercy" or visiting the website EJI.org.

Together we can raise $6000 for EJI.  These 7 x 7" ink drawings are perfect for gifts or a personal reminder that there are those who go unseen. The unseen are worthy of justice, mercy, and honor.
